Dave Garrison really wanted to be a Jedi when he grew up, but his midi-chlorian count wasn’t high enough—not to mention he didn’t live in a galaxy far, far away. Instead he co-founded two award-winning science magazines for children in the 1990s: KNOW and YES Mag. Later, in 2015, he help launch Hakai Magazine, where he was Publisher for ten years.
