Donor Transparency

At bioGraphic, we are committed to transparency in every aspect of our organization’s funding.

We accept gifts, grants, and sponsorships from individuals, organizations, and foundations to help with our general operations, coverage of specific topics, and special projects. Our editorial decisions about what we cover are made independently—never based on, or influenced by, donors. We do not give supporters the rights to assign, review, or edit content. Accepting financial support does not mean we endorse any donors or their products, services, or opinions.

bioGraphic will produce a financial report each year outlining all donations we receive, including a list of all individuals who give US $5,000 or more. We will accept anonymous donations for general operations costs, but anonymous donations will be collectively limited to no more than 15 percent of our annual budget.
