Lesley Evans Ogden is a freelance multimedia journalist based in the verdant suburbs of Vancouver, Canada, where she is a settler on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) First Nations. Earning a doctorate in ecology before crossing a career bridge to science communication, Evans Ogden is captivated by the natural world and its stories.
